David Wilcox

David has lived in Lockleaze for 20 years and is a local councillor. He brings over 40 years of IT experience to his role and is committed to reducing road fatalities and injuries to zero by 2030. David's dedication and proactive approach make him a valuable asset to Lockleaze and Bristol.

David has lived in Lockleaze for over twenty years and is a passionate supporter of local people. As a Councillor, he has worked on actively changing council policy on Work Place Parking and Mass Transit and successfully tabled several budget amendments.

David is chair of the Growth and Regeneration Scrutiny Committee – which covers Planning, City Growth, and Transport. He is also chair of the People and Culture Committee of Avon Fire Authority, which sets the personal policy of the fire authority.

He is a member of the Bristol Council, Avon Fire Authority, and West of England Combined Authority Audit Committees and is not afraid to forensically examine documents and challenge officers.

In Lockleaze he has supported residents with everything from blocked drains, to communal area disputes and planning applications.
