It’s clear from talking to people that transport in Bristol is about equality – a car-based transport system excludes the poorest and most vulnerable and those most affected by pollution.
We need solutions now if we are to tackle the climate emergency, improve public health and improve access to opportunities for everyone, not large-scale projects that will take decades to complete.
The Bristol Green Party will take bold actions to incentivise people to choose sustainable travel, including convenient and cheap public transport, and especially travel that is physically active, such as walking and cycling.
