Lily Fitzgibbon and Emma Edwards were delighted to be elected as your councillors on 6th May. Bishopston and Ashley Down now has two Green Councillors, who promise to continue the hard work they have already started here.
Bishopston and Ashley Down is a vibrant area with a deep-felt community spirit. Its family-friendly vibe, green spaces and allotments all contribute to this; but especially the shops, pubs and cafes of the Gloucester road, that runs through the heart of the area.
Lily said: “We are so grateful to local residents, we have listened and will continue to listen to you. We are looking forward to building on our work in the ward, including protecting trees and green spaces in the area Tackling traffic and parking issues, especially pavement parking Supporting local businesses and keeping the Gloucester Road a thriving high street.”
