Horfield is a two-councillor ward, and our candidates in the May 2024 elections were Anna Meares and Steve Lloyd.
Anna was the runner up in the May election. However, Labour selected a candidate who is employed by the council, which disqualifies them from being a councillor.
The other parties don’t have enough support to win here, so this by-election will be a clear two-horse race between the Greens and Labour.
Anna runs a local sports club and has a broad range of skills and experience in the community. As your councillor, Anna will be able to get even more done for Horfield and the surrounding area.
