Bristol, and in particular Bedminster residents, will have the opportunity to hear Molly Scott Cato this week. Molly tops the Green Party Euro-list for the South West, and Greens are optimistic she will become the first Green MEP in the South West this May. Molly is also the Green Party’s national spokesperson on Finance.
She will be speaking at a public meeting to be held at the Southbank Club on Dean Lane, in Southville. The meeting takes place on Thursday 6th February and is entitled ‘Making the economy work for the common good’. Molly will be explaining what she and other Greens can achieve at a European and national level to change both the economy and the environment for the better. Attendees will have the opportunity to question her about these and other matters.
The meeting will also feature Tony Dyer,the well respected Bristol economic analyst and blogger. It will further feature Charlie Bolton who has been chosen as Green Party candidate for Southville this May.

The Greens have come desperately close to getting an MEP elected over the last two Euro-elections; If just one person in ten vote Green on May 22nd, we will have our first Green MEP”
The meeting starts at 7pm and is free of charge.
