The Local Party Organiser will be responsible for supporting Bristol Green Party officers and volunteers in the implementation of Bristol Green Party strategies, plans and day to day operations. The role will support the officers and volunteers to coordinate their work, check on progress and achievements.
The role will include promoting Bristol Green Party and its activities in the city, including the work of Councillors, campaigns, candidates and coordinating responses to emerging news and issues within the city.
The role will be managed by the Green Party of England and Wales with a work plan being agreed between delegated representatives of Bristol Green Party and the Green Party of England and Wales.
Salary: £21,887 pro rata (point 5 on Green Party National Pay Scale).
Hours: 17.5 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent. Some work will be outside of core hours (09:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday) according to the needs of volunteers.
Location: Home based.
