Job: Political Assistant at Bristol City Council

A vacancy has appeared at Bristol City Council for the role of Political Assistant to the group of Green Party Councillors. 

The advert states that:

“The successful post-holder will work closely with the Green Party Group Leader and Councillors to undertake the following:

• To provide comprehensive advice and research for the leader and members of a political group on issues of interest and which will enable members of that group to effectively deliver their responsibilities to the citizens of Bristol. 
• To offer support to all members of the political group to enable them to carry out their role effectively as councillors.
• To manage one or more members support officers to the political group and the budget for that group.”
