Writing in the New Statesman, Bristol’s Green MEP, Molly Scott Cato, outlines why she will be voting against the CETA trade deal being pushed by Canadian PM, Justin Trudeau, this week.
In the article Molly argues that “Greens have always opposed Ceta because of the power the treaty will grant corporations to sue governments over legislation that threatens their profits” and concludes that “I will get to vote on whether Ceta is in the best interests of Europe and of post-Brexit Britain” and that she will of course vote against CETA.
