Avonmouth & Lawrence Weston ward includes the areas of Avonmouth, Coombe Dingle, Lawrence Weston and Shirehampton.

Former Green Councillor Jo Sergeant, who defected to the Greens in early 2021, missed out on re-election by just 16 votes, after the Greens increased its vote in the ward by over 2000!

Jo said, “It was a privilege to represent you in the Avonmouth and Lawrence Weston ward for the last 5 years. I’m grateful to everyone who elected me in 2016 and who voted for me in the elections in May 2021. I was disappointed to narrowly miss re-election but I’m proud of what we achieved together during my time as ward councillor, working with individual residents and community groups. It was great to meet so many of you personally and I have learned a lot from the experience.”
