Knowle

The ward of Knowle contains the parts of Knowle on either side of the Wells Road such as Upper Knowle and Knowle Park. It also includes parts of Knowle West.
Knowle ward contains a number of green spaces such as Arnos Vale, Redcatch Park, and parts of the Northern Slopes and Callington Road Nature Reserve.
The focal point of the ward is the Broadwalk Shopping Centre, which is subject to controversial redevelopment proposals. Greens want to see the proposals scaled down to be more proportionate to the area, and for new local services to be built into the development. It is the heart of the community so it is important it is done properly – residents are right to demand better.
In the May 2024 election Cam Hayward and Toby Wells were voted in as your Green councillors.  As well as challenging the Broadwalk proposals, they have been campaigning to reopen the Eagle House Youth Centre, and to improve bus services in the area.
