Ellie Freeman

Ellie (she/her) has lived in Bristol since 2003 and in BS3 since 2010 with her husband and two children.

Ellie’s priorities for the ward include improving local transport, working with local groups and community organisations to improve parks and other local facilities, and ensuring the community’s voice is heard in the changes in the area such as new developments. She also supports residents with problems they have with housing, waste or other council services.

As Chair of Action Greater Bedminster from 2018-2023, Ellie worked with community partners to improve the neighbourhood. Her ten years of working in the civil service have given her the tools and knowledge necessary to get things done for Bedminster. She has also worked for Playing Out CIC across the city and runs a children’s book festival.
