Mary Page is a Media, Comms, PR and Marketing specialist. Previous employers include the UK Government’s world-leading National Composites research Centre, part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult, Department of Work and Pensions, Jobs 22, South Gloucestershire Council, BBC radio and a variety of independent media outlets.
In 2022 she led the “It’s Our City Bristol – Scrap the Mayor” grand coalition to bring in the Committee system to transform local democracy. In total 56,113 people all voted for Real Change.
Her platform focuses on transparency, accountability, and empowering local communities. “True democracy puts power in the hands of the people,” said Mary Page. “I am committed to ensuring transparent, accountable governance that genuinely represents and includes our diverse communities’ needs.”
In her personal life Mary enjoys adventure sports, played Spanish National league hockey at University and enjoys Trance, House, Techno and Drum and Base music.
