Barry Parsons

Cllr Parsons is the Chair of the Homes and Housing Delivery Committee, and is working to build social homes, tackle homelessness, improve the council’s own housing, campaign for rent controls, make life better for vehicle dwellers and support community-led housing.

Previous to this role, Barry was Green Group Whip and also wrote a Gaza ceasefire motion for the Full Council last year.

As a Councillor for Easton along with Cllr Bartle, Barry managed to funding for resident-designed improvements to Bloy Street Square. They also hold a twice-monthly surgery at Easton Community Centre (12-2pm, first and third Fridays)

Barry says:
